What's up, I'm Dayci
While the world moves further into digital art, I stay grounded in paint, texture, and the human hand. My work exists in real spaces, on walls, in public, and in the environments people live in.
Here's The Story...
I was raised in the wide-open Nebraska plains, and that landscape shaped the way I see and respect the world around me. There’s a certain honesty to wide horizons, wind across the fields, and quiet towns that teaches you to pay attention to the details and value what you have. That sense of place has stayed with me and continues to influence the work I create.

Creativity has always been hardwired into me. I believe I was put on this earth by my Creator to create — for others and for myself — to show, share, and shine the messages that come through my work. I grew up in a hardware store, learning the foundations of business from the ground up: hard work, service, and doing things right the first time. At the same time, I was raised by an artist who nurtured the creative spark in me and encouraged that light to grow.

When childhood turned into adulthood, I pursued a business degree so I could learn how to market my work and build something sustainable around it. A month before graduating college, I launched Dace Murals. Since then, I’ve dedicated my time, energy, and passion to growing it into what it is today.
I specialize in hand-painted murals and residential painting. My focus as an artist is creating work that feels immersive — paintings that pull you into the moment. When you stand in front of one of my murals, I want it to feel alive. You might almost feel the wind in your hair, the sun on your skin, the birds singing in the trees, or the weight of grief if that’s the story being told.

Today my work is rooted in Nebraska, with murals across the state and others in Iowa and Michigan. While the Midwest is home, I’m always open to wherever the next wall might be.
No matter where the work takes me, the foundation stays the same: a commitment to hand-painted authenticity — real paint, real walls, and real stories meant to be experienced in the world around us.
